I am preparing a regional portal of a national organization.  The regional portal will be hosted as a portal of the national organization.  All of our regional users will already be users on the national portal.  The national system is on DNN version 4.9.4

Is there a way to share the profile and authentication data between the national and the regional portals?

Thanks.

For years, the support has been there to register the same user in multiple portals (so long as they use the same username/password in both portals). However, profile properties are portal specific so this information is not shared across portals. In a DNN 5 core version, there was suppose to be some stuff to allow some type of user sharing across portals but I will have to follow up with Joe or Shaun (of the core team/corporation) to see what, if anything, was changed.
