I'm running 5.01.04 and noticed out of the blue (while trying to add a new user) that I'm unable to add or edit users.  The icons that are typically next to each user aren't showing.  Also, I noticed that when I go to "superuser account" there are none listed there.

Does anyone have any idea of why this might be and how to fix it??

Thanks to anyone for help!

For the SuperUsers, did you select "All" or a letter or are you talking about initially viewing the page?

As for your other issue, are you in Edit mode via the control panel?

Thanks a lot Chris!  This fixed my issue.  Talk about a rookie mistake:  I was not in edit mode.  How embarrassing! Thanks so much for your help!
