When my users forget their password, they click the button that says "Forgot Password" and enter their username. When the email is sent, they get an error:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: Broward County Health Department Password Reminder

Sent: 5/24/2010 7:49 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

ONeil, John M on 5/24/2010 7:49 AM

You do not have permission to send to this recipient. For assistance, contact your system administrator.

<webserver1 #5.7.1 smtp;554 5.7.1 Mail from domain doh.state.fl.us not accepted from host 70-89-100-113-maytee-vivas-fl.hfc.comcastbusiness.net (70.89.100.113)>

This is usually a SMTP server configuration problem.  You may not have updated the smtp user, or perhaps the host user that the emails are sent 'from'.  Generally it is a mismatch between the doman name of the user and the domain name of the email account on the SMTP server.  Ie user@domain1 is trying to send email for domain2 or something like that.

Double check your SMTP server settings and host email in the host settings tab of your portal.  Use the 'test smtp server' button and make sure that you get the corresponding email.
