Thanks very much for your reply Mauricio.

DSLocalizator 03.00.05 gives me a blank page when I click on 'Viewstate in SQL' option. I certainly haven't enabled it - if you think it is still enabled then please let me know if there is any other way I could disable it.

I can also confirm that I had this same error on my DNN 4.9.x site with this option disabled - i tried to enable this feature to test if it resolves the error but it didn't.

We have several in-house built modules on the site - none of them touch the viewstate. I have one 3rd Party Module installed DMX Document Management which required some changes in web.config. I have no reason to believe it would cause the problem but I would uninstall this as a test just to be sure.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

For what it is worth, I have entered a work item and a code workaround for this issue into the bug tracker.  Hopefully it will be addressed soon!

I debuged this error with a user that was having it. We removed DSLocalizator and the problem persists.



I saw this today in two different sites without DSLocalizator and they started after installing some new patches for the .net framework.

My friends. I solved the issue in one of the sites



The problem causing the error with the viewstate mac was some malformed content pasted from word into the rich editor.I located the entry and disabled it to be show and the problem gone. I also tested by showing it again and the problem came back



I know that it could not be your specific problem, however this could give and idea of what to search

I have this same issue. No idea why though. Its only happening on one website. There are other sites on the same server not having the issue.
