I installed a new 5.4.2 installation and am having issues with thenew  RadEditor.  I am curious if anyone else is having problems with basic formation.
  1. The module inserts the break tags instead of paragraph tags.
  2. Whenever I try to align one particular line, the whole document aligns.  This is because there are no paragraph tags.

I am having the exact same problems. And several more as well... Actually, I liked FCKEditor, since it's much faster and userfriendly.

Have you made any progress on this issue?

No progress at all with RadEditor. What I did was change the default provider in my web.config back to FCKEditor.
Im not so sure the core team has tested this enough before implementing RadEditor. Even the editor that this forum is using is having the same issues...

Break tag versus paragraph, can be controlled from Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\Telerik\Config\configdefault.xml and the parameter
<property name="NewLineBr">true</property>. Setting this to false should genereate paragraph tags instead of break tags.
