I've looked through the forums, but could not find an answer to my problem.  I am running DNN version 5.4.1.  It seems that when I create a new portal and configure an administrator account, that account is not automatically assigned to the Administrators Role.  Not sure if that is new in DNN 5.4.1 or not or if there is a problem or a bug with this version.  The previous version I was running (5.3.1) did not have this issue.  I can add the account to the Administrators role manualy, but that seems to defeat the purpose of a Portal Admin account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Tom

are you running multiple languages - perhaps with a non en-us language as the default? There were some issues with this in 5.4.0/5.4.1, I'd recommend you upgrade to 5.4.2 to see if this resolves the issue.
