So in settings under advanced settings for the page I can set a redirection URL and set it as a 301 permant which is great but there is no option to make this open in a new window, how can I make the target new widow work here, what are the other alternatives if this is a no go?

you may use window.open(...) with proper parameters.

So your saying I can use java scripts window open in the url box within the page settings > advanced settings ? If so do u have any examples I could use as i did try the Target _blank but that didn't work

So I tried this
window.open(http://gad.gentex.com.au/finance/Home.aspx,_blank,fullscreen=yes)

results are http://gad.gentex.com.au/Admin/window.open(http://gad.gentex.com.au/finance/Home.aspx,_blank,fullscreen=yes)

Thanks for the quick response I just got it using : void(window.open('http://gad.gentex.com.au/finance/Home.aspx'))
