DNN 5.4.2 appears to have changed the behaviour of the red box that advises that module content is "Visible to Administrators Only". Previously, if a page was configured to be visible to only the Administrators role, the red box did not appear. It did appear however, if the page was visible to other roles, but a specific module was only visible to Administrators.

In the latest version, the red box appears around all modules on a page that is visible to administrators only. That doesn't make much sense to me, because you don't want the box to appear on pages which are only intended for administrators. I think the way it worked pre DNN 5.4.2 made more sense.

In case you do want to get rid of the box for Admin pages, there is a simple workaround documented here: http://web3.dotnetnuke.com/Community/....

AFAIR the behaviour change was made in order to role back to DNN 4 mode, where the red box appeared to any module visible to admin role only - regardless of page or module permissions or display period constraints. A workaround is always using a dummy role (w/o users) and grant view permission to it.

Also (I have just noticed) there is a "Hide Admin Border" option in the Advanced section in module settings that removes the red border for the module in question.
