Hi there,

We've put together a portal for a customer and they're very pleased with it.

However, they are about to distribute some printed material which will refer to a page on the site and they want the URL for the page referred to to look tidy.

ie, even though the actual page URL might be

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/F...

for example, they want a user to be able to enter something like the following in their address bar:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/latestpost

and then have this URL redirect to the actual page URL above.

Can anyone help me with the simplest way of acheiving this?  Do I need a URL redirect module?  Can I do it via IIS?  (I'm running IIS 7 and have access to a dedicated server).

Any help gratefully received!
James

A URL redirect module could do things like this. You can also do some redirects via IIS. e.g. when we went live with DNN we added lots of redirects so all of the old links still went to the correct places.
