I was referred to this post to fix the email issues I am having in 5.4.4 using Dynamic Forms on other PURCHASED modules.  However, after spending 30 minutes reading all the posts I still do not see a clear-cut fix.  Am I missing something here.  What are we suppose to do with all of the sites which are on 5.4.4 that are rendered useless due to lack of e-mail support?

This is very frustrating.

I am running on Windows Server 2003 dedicated server
II6
asp.net 3.5 installed

There seems to be no fix for this challenge.

Dotnetnuke has built-in support for sending emails to an existing SMTP server. Just go to the Host Settings page (while you are logged in as a host user) and then while under the "Advanced Settings" section of the page you will see the part about SMTP Server.

If you are having a problem with a specific module then you'll need to contact the vendor for the module.

I think I am being misunderstood.  There is an SMTP problem in DNN 5.4.4.  It is affecting 3rd party modules like Data Springs Dynamic Forms.  Something is not allowing it to send.  I have read all of the different forum entries for this situation.  Nothing is working.  When is 5.5 due out?  Apparently this is the holy grail.

 I'm having it too.

It would be good to know if anyone has found a fix in 5.4.4 and also good to know when 5.5 is scheduled - I can't use a beta on a production site.
