Getting the following error on a brand new DNN CE 5.4.4 install when trying to save the site settings page:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Input string was not in a correct format. ---> System.FormatException: Input string was not in a correct format. at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options, NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info) at System.Convert.ToInt32(String value) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Portals.SiteSettings.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

The timezone dropdown is empty, so I have a feeling that is the culprit.  The page selection dropdowns have empty brackets "<>" which seems to be different from previous behavior, but maybe that's valid.  Anyone see this or have any ideas?  Thanks.

If I take the same install and hit it on localhost against a local db, everything is fine. Could this be a db permissioning issue at my ASP?

TZ dropdown should list all time zones, contained in app_globalResources/timezones.xml. there might be an installation or permission problem, if you can't fix it, I suggest to restart from scratch.

Hi Sebastian
I am having the same problem.  I am running the starter kit which works well in VS2005 (Vista Home) but when I deploy to my hosting account using the VS2005 "Publish Website" menu option I get this problem.  If I look at the deployed files there is no App_GlobalResources folder.  If I copy the folder to the hosting account I get the error - The directory '/App_GlobalResources/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled.
Should I be deploying in a different manner?
Regards
Ewan.

Hi Sebastian
I have just read the post http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/78/threadid/27731/scope/posts/threadpage/1/Default.aspx which relates to this.
I am using 5.05 so I guess I can not have a precompiled site.
Does this mean I have to copy my source code to the production server?
Ewan
