I've done this before, but for the life of me cannot remember.

The website icon in the address bar above [ie: the little propellor icon for DNN, or and IE icon for others,] WHAT file is that in the DNN system?  I know it can be customized, but I just don't remember what file it is, or where it is located.  Can anyone else assist?

Thanks!

Is there a way to have a different favicon for each portal in the same DNN instance?

place favicon.ico in the root folder of your portal, i.e. /portals/<portalID>

I am having problems getting my favicon to work. I have placed it in the portal root directory and have checked that the file has the correct permissions but I cannot get the favicon to show when the webpage opens.

If I type the url/favicon.ico then the correct icon is shown in the browser.

eg. www.matrivue.com/favicon.ico

Thanks

Duncan
