hi, all --

We have a DNN 5.2.3 site here:  http://www.dgs.ca.gov/  There are 15 child portals which correspond to our organizational breakdown.  These have the form http://www.dgs.ca.gov/resd/, for example.

We want to track each portal's statistics separately, as well as the aggregate data for all portals together.  The Google Analytics module is installed in all portals.

Because there is only one hostname, we have only the one tracking ID.

With our Google account, there is one aggregate profile which is unfiltered.  This is faithfully gathering all kinds of data for all portals.

For individual portal data, we thought we could have several profiles with filters by the sub-folder name for each portal.  As soon as the filter is applied, the profile gets no data at all.  In DNN, pages might have different names:  human friendly, query parameters with the alias, or by tab ID.  So the filter is ignoring some portal pages, but should at least be grabbing the human friendly names.

Anyway, if someone has a working setup, would you please share it with us?

Thanks,
John Kwasnik for WATS-DNN
