Is there a way to adjust the size of our website? It appears much too large on smaller screens. Or is there a way to make it automatically adjust to the user's web browser?

I have no idea whether this is run through the skin or not. We tried condensing things, but the navigation tabs seem to be keeping it long and we don't know how to adjust those either.

This is something that is typically managed by the skin. What skin are you using on the site?

There are two main types of skins, fixed width (that maintain a consistent width for the main part of the website) and variable width (that adjust the width of the main section of the website according to the browser width.)

You can either choose or modify a fixed width skin to target your desired width (usually around 780px or 1000px wide) or you can choose a variable width skin. With Variable Width skins there are often minimum widths that result from the width of items in the navigation (though some handle it better by allowing line breaks in menu items) as well as by the site content.
