hello
I am new to DNN 
I try to experience Extensions 

if I try to install any of the available extensions I get the following error

When logged in as host, please look in the Admin --> Event Viewer for any errors that are being loggedd when installing module and post the complete error here including the stack trace. You may wish to xxxxxx - out the server name, host, and any other sensitive information.

Also, what version of DotNetNuke is the site using and was it a new install or an upgrade from a prior version?

Switch from fileCacheProvider to MemoryProvider, then set schedule method to request. Errors associated with the installation of the modules must be on pages that are on your example does not fit. But I see that you have such problems as me with the Application Startup: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/postid/397202/scope/posts/Default.aspx
