Hi all,

I have a question, is there any option we can add in the registration form (Check box  if user want to get the newsletter, otherwise will not get the newsletter) , if yes then please guide me .

users can subscribe to public roles in their user profile after registration (see demo role "Subscribers" and you may send your newsletter to this role.

I you want to add checkboxes in the registration form to allow users to subscribe to desired roles like NewsLetter, you could use a 3rd part module like Simple Sign In.

Hi ,

Thanks for you reply, Is is possible if I can add a filed with checkbox in the registration form , so that user can check the checkbox if they want to subscribe for the news letter.Please guide me how can I solve this problem, as it is very urgent..

Hi,

As Sebastian said, it's not possible with standard registration form. You have to configure a public role in order to users who want to subscribe to the newsletter. Then users will subscribe to this role in their profile after registration.
Otherwise, you could replace standard registration form with a 3rd part module which will provide you to create customized registration forms.
