I am very close at getting my DNN environment organized and cleaned up... I have updated to the RadEditor 1.1.4 and have a few questions about this editor:

  1. This editor seems to take on the same length of any page that it is on. So if I have a client that has a Text/HTML module that is a couple pages long... the editor is that long. The issue is that if the client wants to edit the content at the bottom of the screen they have to goto the bottom type what they want and then go to the editor buttons at the top to edit the content to their liking. Is there a way to make the content area not show everything, but rather act as an iframe that scolls the content.
  2. I am having issues with the background color of the editor. I just want it to be white. I have tried editing the CSS with both Body and #Body attributes with a value of #FFFFFF; but it is not changing this. Any ideas?

Other than this all is well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I fixed my issues and wanted to share:

1. The size of the window for the content is dependant on the option in the configuration page (I have to uncheck Auto Resize for the height)

2. I needed to add the following CSS rule:

Body {
 background-color:#FFF;
}

to the EditorOverride.css file located in DesktopModules >
dnnWerk.RadEditorProvider > Css

All is well.

Thanks and hope that this helps others.

also... if your site has a background image you will want to add this rule as well:

background-image:none;
