Hello,

Was wondering if there was a quick and easy way to copy static content from a parent page to its children. For example I have a page with a static TEXT/HTML module and instead of recreating it, or adding it as an existing module (My problem with this is that if I edit it anywhere, the change happens across all pages) can I just copy it over and use it like I would use a template without it actually being a template?

And if I am able to copy it, would I be able to copy it across all the child pages all at once?

Thanks,

Dean

When choosing to add an existing module to a page with DNN 5.6, a checkbox is displayed next to the Add Module button that gives you the option of copying the existing module to the page as an independent instance.

when creating a child page, you may select parent for "copy modules from" and select each appropriately. Besides, for individual modules, you may select copy, especially if using great free AdvancedControlPanel from www.oliverhine.com.
