Hi,

I have 2 sites that both 'seem' setup the same way, same DNN version (5.6.0), same Friendly URL settings, etc

On site 1 when I click on the Home menu option I go to www.mydomain.com, even if I type in www.mydomain.com/home.aspx I go to www.mydomain.com. This is what I want to happen.

On site 2 when I click on the Home menu I go to www.mydomain2.com/home.aspx . I want it to go to www.mydomain2.com like site 1

I know I can use the URL Master module to get this to happen but it is already happening on Site 1 without that module so it must be possible without installing additional modules.

If I check the output of sitemap.aspx between the 2 sites the same thing appears. The url for the home page in site 1 appears as www.mydomain.com and the url for the home page in site 2 appears as www.mydomain2.com/home.aspx.

Does anyone have any idea what the difference could be and how I can get Site 2 to work the same.

Many thanks in advance for any help given.

Tony

Hi Sebastian,

They are both on the same DNN version 5.6.0 and the Url rewriter rules are exactly the same.

Thanks
