Hello..
We are using Webhosting4Life as our provider; verdict is still out with them.  Seem to be having database issues; pages slow loading, but then subsequent refresh is fast.

Anyway, have a VERY ODD issue.  I've created product subpages which are linked within the Form & List module.  All of a sudden, I click on the page link and it takes me to the home page for 2 of the 10 pages.  I go to Admin -> Pages and they're not listed; UGH.  I try to create these two missing pages and DNN reports that the pages already exists; uh, what?!

I was copying existing pages for the creation of these pages, so could it be a bug within DNN?

Where can I look within the database to see if these pages exist and maybe delete them or is that too much to accomplish?

Thanks.. -Jeff

please check your recycle bin in admin menu, the pages might be still in there. Otherwise check the tabs table for records with incorrect parent or portalid

Hey Jeff,

WH4L have not really supported asp.net or dnn for about 12 months - I would strongly suggest you look at moving to a different hosting provider.

You will find life becomes much less complex if you do - part of the problem is that by default wh4l seem to have set their application pools to restart if memory usage exceeds a threshold that is actually lower than what many dnn hostings need to run.  As a result you get into a situation where your application pool is restarting almost every time you request a page.

And all those application pool restarts can lead to all sorts of issues - including potentially corruptions in the information getting stored in your database - or a the least data not being updated or saved when you expect that it was.

Thank you for the update.  We have odd issues even viewing the website page.  One time it'll load very quickly, other times it'll site there and do nothing for 10-15 seconds then it's fine.  I'll contact them about what you stated above and see what they say.

Thanks.. -Jeff
