I have a new DNN installation running 5.6.1. Today I logged in as host to install a new module. I selected the extensions option, which worked fine. I then selected "install module" from the dropdown. But instead of being brought the installation wizard I had to login again. I went ahead and logged in with the same host username and was allowed to install the module.

So I logged out and tried my admin account. I viewed the "users" option and when I click on any secondary option (like manage password) I am forced to login again.

Any one else ever see this behavior?

I tried upgrading the site from 5.6.1 to 5.6.2 to see if that would "reset" the issue, but no luck. So, I just completely deleted the site and the DB. And started over from scratch. Now, I only have to login once -- as it should be.

is the domain switching, e.g. from my.domain.com to www.mydomain.com, when performing the action?

I'm not sure now that I've reinstalled the site, so I can't test it. But, one day it was working as it should, then the next day it wasn't. Although no site editing had been done. I'll keep an eye on it and if the new install starts to show the same thing I will update the thread.

Hi Sebastian,
I notice that when I have to re-login, it does switch from www.mysite.com to mysite.com or the reverse.
Is there a way to fix this permanently?  I can also login as different users with www.mysite.com and mysite.com
