There is a password expiry....(read more here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/postid/131011/scope/posts/Default.aspx).....so theoretically you could set this low (30 days) and have everyone login and change it....then set it to 0 (no expiry) or back to something like 90 days.

The issue is that this value is site centric not user centric....so if your set it to one day and I change my password today and login tomorrow it will ask me to change it again

Look, when you login as Admin and go to the Admin/User Accounts and open any Users profile. There is a link " Force Password Change". It will make user to change password at the first login.

In case it is interesting for you, there is a field UpdatePassword in the table Users. "Force Password Change" sets this field to 1 and it requires user to change it at the first login. When you need to change a lot of users at one time to change password, then you can run this query:

UPDATE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}Users
SET UpdatePassword = 1
WHERE UserName IN ('user1@email.com', 'user2@email.com', 'user3@email.com');

Sure, be carefully with it and after this query you have to restart Application Pool.
