I had a situation on this DNN install in which all the modules disappeared out of the available modules list. There is a better explanation of this unresolved issue in this other thread. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F...

I can add them back one-at-a-time in the host>Extensions tab. Except the Account Login module. This module is not in the list of extensions on the host>Extensions page. I realize this is a core module and so I can't download it and manually install it from the DotNetNuke website.

Still, I believe the module is installed and working. If I click the "Login" link on my home page on one portal, the default login page appears and I can use it to log in. I need to get this module into the available modules list in the control panel so I can create a custom login page. This DNN install has two portals. One will show the default login page (even tho I have made a custom page a while ago that used to work) and the second portal shows the default login page when I click "login" - but there is no account login module on it. So it is blank and I cannot login. how do I get the Account Login module back into the list of extensions on the host>extensions page?

If necessary, I can edit the tables. Perhaps someone could tell me which tables to modify?? Or any other fix is very welcome... Thanks

Is it just me with this issue?

We are now having this issue too.  Someone else recommended to manually Create Module from Control via Host > Extensions.  We tried that on a 06.02.06 installation.  It recreated the module in the list and it added it to the list of available modules to add to a page.  However, adding it to a page resulted in no module actually being added to the page.  If anyone has an answer to this issue, please let us know.  Thanks!

simply use "Authentication" module instead fo "Account Login".
