I am posting this with the intention of saving a few headaches. I have been developing a DNN module in VS using the development server (ASP.NET Development Server) which uses localhost as the domain. As the development has progressed I setup a site in IIS to test windows authentication. The odd thing was as soon as I used a hostname on the internal subnet my module was not displaying. The next move was to try reviewing the host settings but I could not see anything. It turns out that because the hostname resolved to the intranet damn IE9 put the website in compatibility mode. In IE9 go to Tools->Compatibility View Settings uncheck Display All Intranet Sites in Compatibility Mode.  Thanks to IE9's developer tool which stated the page was being rendered in compatibilty mode and the post http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Resources/F....
