I'm not sure whether it's on signup or when first accessing radeditor. A folder named Users is created with a structure like this:

Users > 001 > 01 > 1

Obviously 001 > 01 > 1 is the userid being used to create the folders. I've tried setting up my config files for radeditor to monetize on this without success. I also know this was introduced somewhere in DNN 5.x and exists with the same functionality in DNN 6.

Where is this folder structure coming from? What is creating it? Is this a hidden future feature? Or is it residual folder creation from DNN Pro/Ent?

Another question is how do we configure radeditor for this? Is it possible yet? Can tokens be used in the config file? Lets say example for documents directory: Users/ [DNN:Profile:UserId]

Ideally, I would like to be able for a user to have one folder location to access all of their files and their files only through an html editor AND through 3rd party modules that allow folder config for users.

It's 2013 and I have the same question. If anyone can point me in the right direction, please do.

Andrew, would you do me the favor of not posting the same question to a number of threads, this doesn't help us volunteers with support. Thank you.

Cheers from Germany,

Sure. I haven't been on the forums for a long while and I find myself getting back into DNN work. So far it has been frustrating trying to find documentation. Thank you for your timely responses. Can you point me to a good source of DNN documentation from a module development perspective. A lot has changed since I last worked on DNN modules and I want to make sure I align my work with modern best practices and use the latest features of DNN. If posting on the forums is the best way to get answers that's fine, I just don't want to ask questions if the resources are already available some place.

Sorry, just read your other post. " I fear, the only documentation for this is called source code."
