Hi,

When I install new extensions to my fresh dnn6 install, and don't see it in the "add module" inside a portal, but only after I add it in the Portal settings page - under the premium modules section.

Am I missing something here?
Is this the new way it should be?

In old version, after installing a host module, it was available right away in the "add moule" menu, was this changed in dnn6?

Thanx

Shai Eden

Not too sure what you're issue is, however, try going to Admin > Site Settings > Usability Settings and ensure 'Maximised' is checked against Control Panel Visibility.

Once the above has been done, then you will see a Module option in the menu bar right at the top of your web page. The style has changed from that prior to DNN 6, so bare that in mind.

If the above hasn't helped, let me know more details and I'll try my best to assist.

Hi
Thanx for your response.
My issue is different. I got the module menu, but inside the "add module" box I can't find the new extensions which I installed as host.
Meaning, they dont show up in the "add module" drop down box unless I manually assign them to the portal from within "portal settings" page.
Is it a new feature or a bug?
