If you are expecting a full copy of the original site on your local machine then you will need a backup of the database or be able to access. The database the original site uses.

The reason for this is that all the site settings on module content are stored within the database.

Hi Antony,

I have requested a copy of the SQL database and was given an .mdf and .ldf file.
I was expecting an sql file type.

Will these database formats suffice for me to proceed?
Thanks for the help
