I am the administrator for a DNN website.  I'm very new to DNN, but have managed several dreamweaver/html websites.  I am trying to figure out how to access the database of registered users.  I need to compare it to our list of current members.  The list that displays under  ADMIN - User Accounts does not list by Last Name, it only is sorted by username.... quite useless to me.  Hopefully, there is a database that can be imported into Excel or Access.  Please advise how to access the user database.

Thanks,

Byrdie

Hi,

As per my understanding you are trying to fetch all the user information from database. You can create a custom module from host settings. Then you can fetch all users from database table named as users. You can do this only if you have knowledge of programming in asp.net. Hope this helps.

Thanks,

whilst you can run direct sql queries (either via sql management tools or within dotnetnuke itself via the host->sql menu), perhaps a free module such as http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Extensions-Forge/view/ProjectDetail/project/dnnuserexport.aspx would be a good match as it supports exports.
