I have one person with an account on my site who cannot login successfully. It is a new account that was working for a few days and now it doesn't. So I tried to change the password and login myself and that doesn't work. It says credentials are incorrect. Then I changed her email to my email and went to do a Password Reminder and got this error below. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

I couldn't find anything abnormal in her profile information in the db. I looked in the Users, UserProfile, aspnet_Users, activesocial_UserProfiles, activeforums_UserProfile and didn't see anything. Is there somewhere else to look?

I did see this particular post about the password reminder failure. It looks like the poster, Yael, found a solution but didn't post it.

Cliff;

Is this using Active Modules login control?

Have you tried contacting Active Modules support about this error?

I have put in a support request on the Active Social site since I was using their Verified Registration module with password reminder. I temporarily turned it off and put in the DNN one and it is working.

As for the issue with my member's account here is where I am at. I tried to update their email so it could send me the password and I could try to login. Here is the error I see in event viewer even though I got no apparent error that I couldn't update the email.
