Hello All,

Thanks in advance for your time.

On one site, we have 5.6.3 and are using Telerik's Editor.  On standard HTML modules, my user would like to be able to either hover to enlarge or else click to enlarge his images. Eg he uses images sized 100 x 100 but when the user clicks on them, he would like larger images to be displayed.

I can do it myself by making an image map, and maping to the file itself, but that open a new page showing only the picture, it is not very graceful.

What is the better way to handle this?

Thanks again.

Mark

Hi Mark,

I see that nobody responded to your SOS.

I'm interested to know what your solution was in the end?

I look forward to your response,

Eloise

jQuery and a lightbox is by far the simplest way to go - depending on your skin developer - its a pretty good chance that fancybox is already on your site.
If you have a look at http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/
Set it up on your page - and with a couple of css references in you image tag - fancybox will do what you are looking for automatically.

Hi Mark / Eloise,

I would go with the way Wes has said.

I have done this a couple of times, the way I did it was to create a special container pointing to the relative Css and JS files needed to display the images in a popup lightbox like FancyBox or PrettyPhoto.

You can also incorporate this with the Form and List module like we did on 1 of our companies website portfolio, you can see here.

Regards,

Geoff
