Hello,

I'm relatively new to DNN, and trying to get my hands around an interesting problem.  Running DNN 6.2.2 Community Edition, and for a while now have had an issue adding new pages to the site.  There is no error thrown when adding a page (as seen from the Event Viewer); however, whenever I add a new page (either through Page Management or the Control Panel), and attempt to navigate to that page one of two things happens:

  1. The site returns a 404, page not found
  2. The site returns another page.  Typically this happens when I've added a subpage, and the page returned is typically the parent.

In addition, if I rename a page it keeps it's old pathing.  After restarting IIS, all pathing changes take effect and act as normal.  While this is an inconvenience in development, it will become a real issue once we push the site to production.

As stated before, this is a 6.2.2 CE installation of DNN, with the following modules installed (ignoring default modules):

  • Dynamic Login
  • Dynamic Registration
  • Interzoic Accord LMS - Learner
  • Interzoic Accord LMS - Manager
  • Interzoic Accord LMS - Reports
  • Live Tabs
  • SunBlog
  • SunBlog - Authors
  • SunBlog - Categories
  • SunBlog - Content Slider
  • SunBlog - Flow View Wiget
  • SunBlog - Photo Viewer Widget
  • SunBlog - RecentComments
  • SunBlog - TagCloud
  • XModPro
  • XModPro FormViewer

Any assistance or suggestions of where to look to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Could you check your JQuery Version that is used on the host Settings?  I know some issues on using jQuery above 1.7.2.

Also some Skin Designers used own jQuery Versions, it can be then it have to be upgraded..

Thanks for the quick response Matthias.

The installed JQuery Version is 1.7.2, the installed JQuery UI Version is 1.8.16 (Defaults in DNN 6.2.2 I believe as I don't recall changing these.)

I'm using two sets of skins:

1. DarkKnight (any admin pages, like Host Settings, Page Management, etc)
2. Custom Skin I've created for the site. Haven't had any issues with the skin, and it doesn't include any scripts (uses the default JQuery above)

Could it be that there was a version upgrade done before the issues caused?

Could it be that there is set a site restriction from the host admin to allow only 10 pages ?
