Hi DNN gurus,

I am currently having problems with our companies workflow changes, I will explain our company dynamic:

At the minute, our Russian Dev team have work remotely, upload to our Dev server when finishing a project, then upload to the live site. Our Dev server should be an exact copy of our live server at all times.

I have come on board as a Designer and Content editor, and am currently having to make changes to the live site which is unacceptable, and I cannot use the Dev server as a 'playground'

Is there anyway I can have a local copy of our site to work on, and then merge only the changes I make to either the live or Dev server? I can't copy the whole site as I will be copying over the Dev teams work - and they will be copying over mine.

Apparently an SVN will only merge the site (not the database), and database tools do not have a merge function!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated -  as I am scratching my head on this! I (obviously) have very little understanding of servers.

Thanks

Daniel - RealRussia
