We recently upgraded a 5.6.x site to 6.2.3 and have spent some time setting up the user profile area to incorporate the new social features.

On the new activity feed page = when logged in as Admin the "Tell the world something..." area is clickable - and lets admin make a post to their own feed.

However - if we login as any other existing user - and go to their activity feed page -  the "Tell the world something..." area is no clickable and does not let the user post to their own feed ....   Oddly though if they go to the activity feed of any other user the field once again becomes active and they can post on those other users feeds.

Would appreciate some insight into what we have set up incorrectly - im assuming its something to do with legacy permissions of some sort.

Westa
