I'm new to DotNetNuke and have locked myself out of my website.  Without realizing what I was doing I pointed the loginpage to a page that does not have a login module.  In searching the forum I found several threads with the same problem, but for the solution they all point to an opensesame.aspx from John Mitchell that doesn't appear to be available any more.

Does anyone know where I can get this opensesame.aspx or have another suggestion on solving the problem?

Thank you!

You can always append ?ctl=login to any page to make the login control appear.

I tried appending ?ctl=login to several different pages but the login control does not appear. In all cases it seems to be redirecting to my home page without the login parameter.

Thanks.

You're right, I think that must have changed recently because it used to work like that.

The LoginTabID is stored in the PortalLocalization table, if you have access to that, you can set it back (and then restart the app).

Other than that, you might be stuck with those other solutions.

updating the LoginTab value in PortalLocalization table should revert to displaying login control instead of your login page. you will need to restart the application for database edits becoming effective.
