Hi  All

I  have a site with two portals. Portal 0 is basically unused, as it is a remnant from some early development efforts by a different developer. Portal 1 is the main portal.

I have a user (who is an admin) who has been around since the very beginning and has Roles in both portals. It seems like his entries in the UserProfile table are somehow tied to Portal 0, while I would like them to be tied to Portal 1. For example, just using middle name as an example, it is PropertyID 3 in Portal 0 and Property ID 78 in Portal 1. If I log into Portal 1 and change his middle name under Users | (find user) | Manage Profile, it changes the entry with ProfilePropertyID 3 (i.e. Portal 0) in the UserProfile table, not 78, as I would like.

Can someone please explain how this works and how I can 'tie' this user's Profile toPortal 1?

Thanks in advancefor your help.

Apologies, I should have said. I'm using 5.6.2. Thanks.

is your portal 1 a child portal of portal 0?
I strongly suggest upgrading at least to 5.6.8

Thanks, Sebastian. Honestly, I am not certain if Portal 1 is a child portal of Portal 0. The only one in use is Portal 1 and IIS is serving only one website, Portal 1. It is definitely not a child portal in the sense that it works like this: www.portal0.com and then www.portal0.com/portal1. Will an upgrade allow me to fix this problem?
