I have a similar problem. I'm getting a 401 unauthorized error when the app makes an ajax call to anything in the path /DesktopModules/internalservices/etc./etc.

In reviewing the file system, I see that there is no folder named "internal services" within the DesktopModules folder. Maybe this folder was accidentally omitted from the installation package I downloaded from DotNetNuke?

Do you have any idea when this bug will be fixed?

In DNN 7 all services use an internal mapping system that creates dynamic file paths and folders.
You will never FIND a services folder by looking at the directories in you file system, because they do not exist.

If you are getting 401 errors while trying to find services - then I would first investigate if you have any 3rd party custom friendly url mapping tools on your system that have not been upgraded to be compatible with dnn7.

Secondly I would look at the module that is making the internalservices call at verify that the module has been upgraded to be compatible with dnn7 - modules that used services in dnn6.2 are NOT compatible with dnn7 and need to be updated.

Thanks, Wes. Everything is out of the box, so there are no custom modules, or anything. This was happening literally right after installation.

After hunting around for a while, I read that adding runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true" to the node in the web.config file would fix this. And it did, in fact.

However, now I've upgraded to 7.0.3, and I can't edit my site's home page. When I'm in Edit Mode, and I use the toolbar > Edit Content command, a modal window briefly pops up, and then the entire page refreshes, killing the modal window and bringing me back to where I was before. No errors are logged in Firebug.

Ideas?

Can confirm matters are worse with a fresh install of v7.0.3
Would like someone from DNN to make a statement and to let everyone know when fixes will occur. But this hasn't happened for the previous 6 versions so I suppose we have to live with the bugs again.

I've tried every solution I was able to find and the same problem exists for me.

A post mentioned that there was a conflict between JQuery version that's installed and the one required by DNN.  The blog further explained that there was a way to have the browser use the JQuery version of DNN by making a change to the config file but no explanation of how.  Has anyone investigated this option?  Any help is appreciated.
