Absolutely new to DNN and checking if it's suitable for a website.

I installed a module that requires dotnet 4.0 and thought that that was what was installed. Obviously not as I now have a site that does not want to start ;)

Code:

Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit' or one of its dependencies. This assembly is built by a runtime newer than the currently loaded runtime and cannot be loaded.

And

Code:

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.5466; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.5459

Question is how I can chnge dnn 6.2.6 to use a different framework and, if not possible, which files to edit and/or remove to remove the module?

 Thanks in advance, WimS

PS

The problem is not a train smash as I'm only evaluating things and can easily start from scratch.

You have to install :NET 4.0 or 4.5 on your Server.  Then chjange the application pool in your IIS for your DNN site to .NET 4.0.  I recommand, make then a iisrest, and try to open youir site running .NET 4,
