I have created a new portal.  I am running into some weird issues. Does anyone have a clue why this is happening? I have added new portals before and haven't had this problem.  Is there a setting I forgot to set?  See below the problems I am having.

  1. I uploaded images using the file manager in the HTML module  and added the images to the page. While I was looking at the page, the images started disappearing.  I looked in the image directory and the images I just uploaded were gone. I tried this again several times and the same thing happened.
  2. I loaded the images again directly to the server (not using file manager) and the images stayed on the server but it took a while for the images to show up in the file manager.  I used the sync and recursive option several times.  Finally after an hour, the images showed up in the file manager.
  3. The delayed server recognition of files is also causing a problem with showing skin updates.  I have to wait  a while for the updates I have done to the skin. This really is unproductive.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Gayle

I entered the wrong DNN version number.  The portal is using DNN 6.2.2.
