Not a massive issue but an issue all the same.

I upgraded from 6 to 7 and now my admins cant press Admin without getting a 500 message and no events errors recorded but yet can still select the sub menu admin items.

Any idea why this is happening?

I just tried to update to 7.0.4, get to the update screen, add my host details, hit the upgrade now and nothing. Wont do anything, wanted 1 minute also.

I think the represents a real issue!! How do I escalate as this maybe a problem for everyone going forward

OK nightmare over!!!

I took some rewrite rule for the config file from someone and it was removing the .aspx from the file and hence why the error!

If you have same rewrite rule like below,

Take away the top rule and all is ok again
