Does anyone know how to change the 'from' Name on email sent from the newsletter module?  If I'm logged in as admin, it simply makes the name 'admin', which is the first part of the email address that I'm using to send the messages.

If you are asking how to change the email address where the email is sent from, you need to go to host>host settings> host details>host email and change the name of the email.

If you are asking how to change the predefined text in the  message you need to go to admin>languages> Static Resources and edit the desired text under system, host or site. Hope this helps.
