Hello,

I have created a custom schedule task that every day deletes files older than 14 days in a folder I created on the portal  and marks their corresponding entries in the database as "Deleted". This task runs daily and is tied to the Application_Start event.

When I add the task to Host > Schedule and test it there, everything works fine: the files are deleted and the database is updated. However, when I restart the application on Host Settings or the server restarts the application for whatever reason, the website stops working! What happens is when I try to access the website after restarting the application, it seems that the server stops responding because all I see is a blank page and the "waiting for server" in my browser.

I have no idea even how to debug this issue. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

 Thanks.
