I have just installed DNN Community 7.1 and set up a simple site with pages having one module each being the HTML module. Five pages each with one HTML module with different content should have staggered publication dates set to be live for one week each, running from now to 5 weeks in the future.

I have a weird situation. As soon as the publication start and end dates are set in the Page Settings tab, and the UPDATE button clicked, the contents of the HTML module on the updated page takes on the content of the HTML page of the HOME page!!

I have deleted, cleaned recycle bin, set up new pages and the issue is 100% repeatable!

Any help?

please make sure, you are using "add new module" instead of "add existing module", whe placing HTML module on the page.

Thanks Sebastian for the response. Actually I am not adding any HTML module - just using the HTML module that's placed on the new page by default. I have just created my own new Home page and the five other pages that need to be published for one week in next 5 weeks. These five pages are sub pages of one "empty" page acting as the main Menu Item.

I recreated everything:

Main Menu
Home - Weeks Info - Contact

Weeks Info has following submenus
Week 1
Week 2
Week 3
Week 4
Week 5

As soon as I use Edit Page button on the admin/Host control bar to edit the pages Week 1 - Week 5, and access the Advanced Setting of the Page Settings menu option to set the Page Publication dates, then click Update the page HTML module loses it's content which is replaced by the content on the HTML module on the Home page. 100% repeatable.

When I go back to say Week 1 to check the content, click the Edit Page button again, Page Setting option I get the details of the HOME page!!!!

Something very odd going on.

Richard.
