I am trying to update my Favicon and the custom CSS tabs under Admin>Site settings and when I either add my favicon or update the CSS page and click update it will not update. I get nothing from the page that says it is working to update it, it just sits there. There are other areas in which update and other buttons do not work. One is under Admin>File Manager and I want to click the arrow to look at the next page of pictures, it will not attempt to load up the next page. I can however click the dropdown to show 50 pictures per page to show more but not the arrow.

 

I have tried 4 different browsers as well as clearing cache from those browsers and from Host>Host Settings>Clear Cache.

 

There are 2 things that happened recently and I have ruled 1 out as the problem. The other is that I went in and deleted the old favicon, then tried to add a new one and that was when I first noticed the problems. The issue I resolved was getting a new firewall at work, but I tried doing the update at other locations and the same problem was there so it was not the firewall.

 

Any help is appreciated as I cannot do a lot of changes without figuring this out.

What DNN Version did you use?  Have you enable PopUps aktivated ?  Try it with aktivated and diabled PopUps.

If using IE 10 you might need to press F12 and switch to IE9 mode.

We are running DNN 7.0.6.   As far as disabling popups I cannot get the Update to work and take those changes into effect. Do I need to try and update to a newer version of DNN.

 I am mostly on Firefox and Chrome. IE is a testing browser only and not used unless the other 2 will not work.

If you are on 7.0.6, you should try applying default skin and make sure you are running proper version of jQuery and jQuery UI, if using hosted version (see Host Settings).
