you can do this via the group filter - http://www.dnnsoftware.com/help#Docum... directory - it should show the list of security roles as well as the list of social groups (or at least it does in my local 7.2.1 copy)

Ok... I thought I was set.

I have a role called merchant, it is setup as both social and security role. It is not a group role and is in the global role group. When I set the group filter in the member list to the role Merchant, I initially thought it was working as it returned all of the members in the list for the role Merchant. However, I soon realized that If I am not a member of the the role Merchant, the filter does not return any members.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

AFAIK that's a known (reported) issue - I am not sure, whether it has been fixed for DNN 7.2.1 already.
