I am interested in filtering the member list by role. Can anyone provide guidance on how to do this? You can do it with groups but not members?

Thanks

I recommend downloading and using the reports module. You can set it up anyway you want. If you decide to do this I can walk you through the sql script to use. Few quick questions though what version of dnn are you using and do you have custom profile properties?

AFAIR there is a filter built in by QueryString, like when setting up the module on a child page for a Social Groups page

Thanks to both of you for the insight. Haven't figured out what the querystring should look like although I was able to filter on roleid within group urls, have not found a way to do it for a member list. With respect to the reports module, I want to retain the behavior of the member list.

However, to temporarily get around the problem, I created a private group and added the members I needed to display in the member list to the group role and am able to filter on that. Not a long term solution but it works for now.

Happy New Year

social groups and roles are more or less the same, there is a setting in admin > Security Roles, whether it acts as security role, social group or both.
