Which isn't in line (of expectation) with the rest. e.g. The file manager and page manager aren't context aware.

It would be an improvement to add it to the host menu also and when opened from the admin menu start with showing the log only for the current site. It's no  big change, but would add to the consistency of the interface.

I would prefer to remove the duplicate menu entries in Admin and Host menu - around 80% of the DNN installs contain a single site and make int difficult for the admin to understand the difference. It would be easier to have a selector like in Pages module or a multi-root tree (one for each website and eventually one for host), where an admin only get the root for his site displayed. This would work perfectly for Files, User Accounts, Lists, Pages and many more items.
