I am trying to install DNN 7.02.01

I used the Install new file on a Vista machine running IIS 7.  I added a new blank database in MS SQL 2008 R2 running on Windows Server 2003.

I extracted the zip file to C:\Websites\Test

I setup the site in IIS7 and in Application Pools set the site name to ASP 4.

I opened the site, filled in Host password and setup the optional database.

When I opened the completed site everything looked GREAT on the Home page.

However when I try to log in or go to ANY page it gives me

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable

 

No matter what page it is (except the home page) the web page cannot be found.

I installed this patch on my Vista machine where I am running the DNN 7.02 site.

You are correct, it 100% RESOLVED the problem!!!!!!!!!

Now my big concern is did my hosting company (DiscountASP.com) install this patch. I think I need to ask them.
