Hi,

I have a strange problem. If I restart IIS service or server itself, I receive an error that DNN fails to connect to DB. Restarting DNN site corrects it. This behavior  is only with encrypted web.config files.  IIS and SQL express is on the same server. Any ideas what might cause it?

Thank you

DNN does not officially support encrypted web.config.
