More info... One suggestion that was given was to set the passwordFormat = Encrypted as a workaround until the DNN team fixed this problem. That did not work either and made the problem worse in that the current password for user whose password was attempting to be reset stopped working. This problem corrected itself when passwordFormat was set back to hashed.

I still have the reset password issue on 7.3.2 and I have passwordFormat="Hashed" in web.config
Someone know if this has been solved on 7.3.3 or if there is a workaround to fix it?

Max,

IMHO this is not a reset issue. Resetting a password via a Reset token works just fine in 7.2.2. It is only when you flip on the extra security of Question and Answer that resets become impossible.

I don't want this issue confused with the many other security related issues that have or have not been fixed as DNN has evolved (or devolved). This thread is just about https://dnntracker.atlassian.net/brow....
