I'm encountering a weird issue that I have a workaround for, but I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this.

I have sites I've upgraded to DNN 7.3.3. I installed Oliver Hine's Advanced Control Panel and use the Advanced Icon Bar as the control panel. Many of the portals use skins developed using Artisteer.

So, here is the issue:

When logged in and in Edit mode, the edit icons don't render correctly for modules. The first module in a page will display partial edit icons (pencil and gear)...but no edit icons will display for any other modules.

IF, however, there is an Announcements module on the page (and the account logged in has Edit permissions for THAT module), then ALL edit icons on the page render correctly.

I'm trying to figure out if there's another way I can get the edit icons to render normally WITHOUT changing the Control Panel style OR using different skins.

  It sounds like the icons might be using a sprite with negative background-position.  I would use F12 dev tools in Chrome or FF to see what CSS was causing the conflict.
